随着英雄们和魔王的战争宣告结束，世界也逐渐恢复了和平。
人类和魔族达成了共识，决定联手消灭在这片土地上为所欲为的魔物。在这个和平的世界里，有一位名为克莱儿的宝藏猎人，她在听说了关于一个“可以实现持有者的任何愿望”的秘宝的传闻之后就立刻动身前往了传说中的都市，阿洛美亚。然而克莱儿并不是唯一一个听到这个传闻的人，此时的阿洛美亚已经被蜂拥而至的冒险者、商人以及宝藏猎人包围了。就在克莱儿在阿洛美亚的街道上一边闲逛一边寻找立足点的时候，她遇到了在经营着一间奇怪的道具店的少女店主。

这位自称米莉丝的少女店主告诉克莱儿说，在都市北方的神殿中有一份不可思议的宝藏。
克莱儿虽然对此半信半疑，但是因为没法调查到其他线索所以只能决定去亲自探探虚实。她总觉得这个神殿有哪里不对劲，但是最后还是来到了神殿的深处。在那里，克莱儿找到了像是财宝的东西，而就在她伸手触摸财宝的一刹那，她的全身都被明亮的光芒包围了起来。在克莱儿恢复意识之后，她发现一位美丽的女子出现在了自己的面前。这位女子自称是守护着这座小岛的女神，还说克莱儿的身体里寄宿着真正的勇者之力。女神又告诉克莱儿说，在努力寻找着秘宝的人潮当中，有一群唯恐天下不乱，希望用秘宝的力量摧毁整个世界的恶人。

所以，女神希望克莱儿能在恶人将秘宝据为己有之前抢先找到秘宝。
女神告诉克莱儿，需要通过某种仪式才能唤醒克莱儿体内沉睡着的勇者之血。在女神的仪式进行完毕之后，克莱儿能清晰地感觉到在她体内回荡着的某种力量，这就是女神口中的的勇者之力。女神解释说，只有通过收集“生命的能量”才能强化这股勇者之力。虽然这个发展有些出乎克莱儿的预料，不过克莱儿依然决定去寻找传说中的秘宝，实现自己的愿望。就这样，克莱儿踏上了和冒险途中认识的伙伴一起寻找秘宝的伟大旅程……
